The US EPA enacted the Vessel General Permit (VGP) legislation, introducing a comprehensive framework to regulate the use of lubricants in maritime operations.
VGP Section 2.2.9, mandates the use of EALs in all oil-to-sea interfaces.
These EALs, defined as biodegradable, minimally toxic, and non-bio-accumulative, are found in a wide array of maritime equipment.
In response to evolving environmental regulations, such as the EPA’s Vessel General Permit, we’ve developed a full line of Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) to meet stringent requirements. We’re proud to participate in initiatives like the USDA BioPreferred program, aligning with our belief in the importance of renewable materials for Earth’s environmental future.
We aim to provide extraordinary service to our customers, create Eco-friendly products, and contribute to missions and charitable causes that support family values.
